Demonstration Grass Plots at Houston Garden’s

New grass plots have been planted at Houston Garden’s to help our tax payers see different native grasses that grow in prairie and grasslands. This should be especially helpful for local high school students to come and learn about different grasses in their FFA and science classes. It should create a new window of opportunity for teachers and students alike to have more hands-on time when learning about range lands.

Currently there are 33 different plots, all with different grasses. Grasses will all have labels once grasses are established and thriving.
