The Divide, Colo., camp may be the best-kept secret in Colorado. This is a weeklong, residential summer camp for 14- to 19-year-olds who enjoy the outdoors and are interested in natural resources. It provides students with the invaluable opportunity to work directly with natural resource professionals in forestry, rangeland science, soil and water conservation, and fish and wildlife management. Campers design and implement an on-site natural resource action plan. Students also can hike, play volleyball, or participate in group challenges. And, there’s a talent show. The cost is $350, but WGCD sponsorships are available. For details about the camp, contact firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 719-686-0020. For details call WGCD, 970-356-8097 ext. 3 or email email@example.com.
