WGCD is going to be hosting a educational workshop on soil moisture sensors, March 2017.

Guest Speakers will include Colorado State University educational professionals, USDA-ARS Research Engineer, as well as local soil moisture sensor company representatives.

This workshop is going to cover soil moisture sensor basics such as;

What are soil moisture sensors? Why should you utilize soil moisture sensors on your farming operation? The different types of soil moisture sensors. Why calibration in sensors is important. How to use WISE irrigation scheduler…. and much more! Local soil moisture sensor representatives will be presenting as well to give farmers the opportunity to connect directly to the retailer of their choice!
