College Scholarship Program Assists Future Ag and Conservation Leaders
West Greeley Conservation District (WGCD) makes education a priority. Currently, 13 students are benefitting from WGCD scholarships at Colorado colleges and universities. To qualify a student’s family must live within our WGCD service boundaries and pay the WGCD tax. The student is pursuing studies to build a career in agriculture, natural resources, water, conservation, or a related approved discipline.
Our Scholarship application process is getting a facelift to allow online submissions. The packet will be available online at: https://www.wgcd.org/education/scholarships/ by mid-October.
Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors starting their freshmen studies; as well as, to renewal students who remain eligible and meet all criteria. Please visit our Web Site to review all requirements using the link above. All complete scholarship application packets are due to the WGCD office, 4302 W 9th St. Rd., Greeley, CO 80634 (in the U.S.D.A. Service Center) before 4 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022.
